Who is the Credit Services Association (CSA)

The CSA is the only national trade association in the UK representing organisations in the debt collection and purchase industry. Drawing upon this extensive experience of working within highly-regulated environments, the CSA develops and delivers learning and development solutions designed to increase capability, professionalism, standards, talent retention, and social mobility in this complex sector.

We use this specialist expertise and experience to assist employers from the public and private sectors to upskill and reskill existing or new employees in business-critical areas.

We are an Approved Apprenticeship Training Provider and an accredited centre for Functional Skills Assessment.  In our recent Ofsted inspection, we received a Strong standard for Curriculum and Teaching in addition to meeting the required standard across all 4 other categories. This is a significant endorsement of the quality of our apprenticeship provision, the dedication of our team, and the value of specialist learning and development support for our sector.  We hold an Excellent rating from employers and a Good rating from apprentices following reviews – you can view the reviews hereOur current apprentice achievement rate sits at 72.9% compared to 65.4% national average. 

Our dedicated Learning and Development team can create bespoke training solutions that can fit your specific requirements, from bite-size online courses to degree level apprenticeships. 

We also offer the Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI), an affordable online test to assess debt collectors’ knowledge and scope of understanding of compliance, enabling firms to mitigate regulatory risks and uphold the high standards of the CSA Code of Practice.
