Cybersecurity for Financial Services

Understanding cybersecurity risks and protective measures

Cybersecurity is not just the responsibility of IT staff; everyone at an organisation can be a target, victim, and access point. This module provides a clear and practical introduction to cybersecurity risks within the financial services sector, using real-world case studies to demonstrate the scale, impact and consequences of cyber-attacks.

Learners will develop an understanding of common attack types, how they occur, and the steps individuals and organisations can take to reduce risk, protect sensitive data and prevent significant financial, regulatory and reputational harm.
